This body of work is very much in the same vein as the my White Series. The primary difference being that it has lost much of its empathy and optimism. It is damaged, desparate, and sullen. My affinity for existentialism begins to crumble into nihilism.
Aesthetically, it's -obviously- much darker. More importantly this work is becoming much more sculptural, and decidedly less painterly. My vocabulary of materials is also broadening substantially with the work in this series.
