Aesthetically, these morose -but oddly playful- little pieces bare great similarity to my black series; only smaller, aimpler, and tighter. In that sense it is a continuation of it, though it's driven more by the dynamics of interpersonal relationships than it is by my philosophical convictions. Those beliefs remain present, but only serve to underpin the sentiments expressed here.
